According to the requirements set forth by the CPSIA, the levels of lead in these rhinestones are low enough to be used on items for children. Although these rhinestones are not completely lead free, the amount of lead present is well below the requirement. We have the documentation of the lead levels and are happy to provide them upon request. CraftSafe Crystalina Low Lead Hot Fix Rhinestones are not plastic or acrylic, but are true glass rhinestones.
